Hey there! I’m just a football (or soccer, if you prefer) nerd who’s obsessed with stats. I built Kinetiq because I love ranking players and teams by their numbers, and I figured I wasn’t the only one who gets a thrill from uncovering cool insights. So, if you’re into the beautiful game and want to see it through a data-driven lens, welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Kinetiq is like your football stats-obsessed best friend. It digs through the numbers from the top five
leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1) to serve up some seriously interesting facts
about any player or team you’re curious about. Want to compare two players or teams? Kinetiq will find what
they have in common and show you how they stack up against everyone else this season.
Have a super-specific stat question? You can build your own query! And if things get a bit too complicated
for the standard filters, no worries—Kinetiq has a natural language interface. Just type your question in
plain English, and an AI-powered engine (a large language model, aka LLM) will work its magic to fetch the
answer.
In short, if you love football and numbers, Kinetiq is your playground.
Kinetiq doesn’t do instant updates, but it’s pretty quick! New data usually lands about 1–2 hours after
each game. So if you're refreshing like crazy right after the final whistle, give it a bit of time—it’s on
its way!
Want to know exactly when the last update happened for each competition? Just check the footer at the bottom
of the page. It’s got the latest timestamps so you’re never left guessing.
There is only one exception, though. The shots data is usually a little behind in terms of being updated.
This isn't an issue with Kinetiq, but from the data provider. So if you're looking for the most recent shots
data, you might have to wait a bit longer. Apologies.
Ah, the joys of working with AI. The LLM that powers this feature is brilliant, but it’s also a bit moody.
Sometimes, it just decides to take a nap (aka technical issues). When that happens, I have to temporarily
disable the feature until it's back in action. Hang in there—I’ll get it up and running as soon as I can.
(Seriously, LLM, get your sh** together.)
Good question! The AI brain behind Kinetiq isn’t just doing a quick database lookup—it’s reasoning through your question like a virtual football analyst. That kind of deep thinking takes time (usually a minute or two). I know, I know, patience is hard, but while it’s crunching the numbers, feel free to explore the rest of Kinetiq. Your answer will pop up as soon as it's ready!
Great question! The Context Name tells you the specific game situation in which the stats were recorded.
For example, if you’re looking at team stats, the context could be something like “when the team was leading
by 1 goal” or “when shots were taken from outside the box.” Basically, it adds extra detail to your query so
you’re not just looking at raw numbers—you’re seeing them in the right context.
I highly recommend picking a context to make your query more insightful! But if you just want the
full-season numbers with no situational filters, you can always select "None" and get the full picture.
Kinetiq is built for humans, not bots. Unfortunately, some folks try to flood it with automated
queries—sometimes to scrape data, sometimes just out of curiosity. While I get the enthusiasm, it’s not fair
to other users, and it eats up a ton of computing power.
So, to keep things running smoothly for everyone, I had to set some limits. If you somehow managed to fire
off more than 100 questions in a single minute (wow, respect!), you’ll have to wait a bit before asking
more. Just give it a minute to reset, and you’ll be back in action.
Basically, take a deep breath, grab a coffee, and try again in a sec!
Oops! If Kinetiq is acting up, you can report the issue through our help desk:

. I’ll try to fix it as soon as possible.
(Pro tip: Refreshing the page might help, but no promises!)
That’s amazing! I love hearing fresh ideas from fellow football data nerds. If you’ve got a suggestion that
could make Kinetiq even better, head over to the help desk (
https://velatris.com/help_desk/
) and select "Feedback and Suggestions."
I read every submission, so don’t hold back—whether it’s a cool feature idea, a tweak to an existing tool,
or just a "Hey, have you thought about this?" moment. Looking forward to hearing what you’ve got!
Yeah, I hear you. Kinetiq was originally built for browsers—ideally on a big screen. On mobile, things
might get a bit cramped, especially if you’re loading up a bunch of attributes in the table. You might have
to scroll sideways a bit, but I kept the font size readable instead of shrinking everything into oblivion. I
have a trick for you, though: try rotating your phone to landscape mode after you login. It should make
things a bit more comfortable.
That said, I totally get that most people use their phones way more than their computers these days. That’s
why I’m actively working on a dedicated mobile app to make the experience way smoother. But since this is a
one-person operation, it might take a little time. Hang in there—better things are coming!
